First of all:  Sorry this is a bit late, but from this point on I will be blogging weekly concerning my activities.


Friday- 4th October 2013: Blog for Swimming for this week:

Well as we have a meet for the next two weekends, the swimming has been both intense and mildy weak in terms of strenuous workouts. The point of swim team is to prepare and improve our times, and as we have been endurance training for a couple months we are now focusing on technique and dives/turns. The final details of a swim race. My first NASA swim meet (aka meet that matters) is tomorrow and I will be swimming in 4 individual events and 2 relays. This will be a test of my of my own physical fitness, and teamwork when it comes to the relays. I'm not optimistic about the fact that I"ll be waking up at 6:30 on a Saturday, but I keep my promises concerning meets, and when it comes to sports we have to meet our commitments. Oh well, I'll just bring a flask of hot chocolate. 

Also coming up is THE ST.ANDREWS CROSS COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIP.
Which I'm torn about, first of all as it is a huge waste of time when considering travel vs race time, and secondly am excited about because I've been training hard and for a long time now.
